• Clicking on the area adds a data point

Statistics are sample statistics. (ddof=1)

Principal component analysis (PCA) is a commonly-used dimensionality reduction technique. Dimensionality reduction is not necessary for low-dimensional data like this but, the vectors of the first and second principal components of the data are drawn on the area as brown and red lines.
